The Creation of Online Priority Based Budgeting
At the beginning of 2015, over 80 communities across North America have implemented Priority Based Budgeting (PBB), impacting over 11 million residents across the US and Canada.
Now in late 2017, over 185 cities, counties, school districts and special districts will be practicing PBB and applying PBB data, using the process and tools to reshape the way all of a community’s resources are leveraged to achieve transformational Results, and inviting residents further into an authentic role of influence and participation.
Online Priority Based Budgeting was created to meet the needs of a rapidly increasing user community:
implementing the process in an efficient and intuitive, web- based platform,
sustaining and evolving your work over several years, and
transparently sharing the outcomes of your work, internally
ResourceX invites you to the 2017 Duluth PBB Boot Camp! Use your organization's data to develop a prioritized budget! The PBB "Boot Camp" is a first of its kind workshop for new organizations to launch PBB. Attendees will use their own organization's data to develop program inventories, allocate costs, and prioritize programs.
At the end of this two day workshop you will have developed your own Online PBB model and the knowledge to apply PBB data in your organization!
The PBB "Bootcamp" is an intensive two-day workshop designed to help your organization efficiently implement PBB. In a hands on group setting we will walk through all of the steps of implementing Priority Based Budgeting. In each session we will discuss the material and then work toward practicing what we learn.
By experiencing all the steps in just two days you will have the knowledge of what will work best for your organization. You will also have a chance to meet a group of your peers going through the same process and you will be able to benefit from their questions and experience during Bootcamp, and hopefully afterwards.
This intense training will cover many different options throughout the process including different costing and scoring methods. Plus, for those who choose to use their own data, they will gain experience updating and making changes that they can directly carry back to their organization.
This is what your 2-day “Boot Camp”
on-boarding agenda will look like!
**Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their own lap-top to actively apply what you learn during the Duluth PBB Boot Camp!
